p/s; i've been extremely busy that i haven't got the time to check out your (and everyone else's blog too, for that matter) for a quite a while.
I've always thought that time is, indeed, man made. Some can argue that in the Bible God created the Earth in seven days and so on and so forth, causing it to be a pretty good argument; but, I stick with my argument since man just HAD to create this big elaborate system with minutes and hours seconds (they even had to go as far as milliseconds, microseconds, etc...the nerve!!).
But, you're right, time does have its purpose in the universe.
Time to me, when I am keeping up with it, is something that supports all balance for all great things. It is the greatest healer, murderer, and gossiper out there. That will always stay the same, yet will always change.
Time is an intricately interesting thing.

einstein had some interesting theories about time, off the top of my head can't think of them, but they had to do with the absolute importance of time to our being and how we observe our being

Most of the time I believe and follow the first quote. But sometimes it feels like the second quote is true as well. I love your blog, your musings are awesome. :)
